Ava is a Somatic Coach, Ceremonialist, Bodyworker, and Vocal Sound Medium devoted to supporting personal growth as a pathway to planetary evolution. She creates sacred spaces for individuals to reconnect with their authentic selves and access the transformative power of sound, embodiment, and intuition.
Ava’s early experiences were shaped by both life’s vibrancy and its challenges. Growing up in an imaginative and musically creative environment, while navigating loss, bullying, and witnessing mental health struggles within her family, sparked a lifelong exploration of interrelating with seen and unseen dimensions of life through her felt senses.
Entering adolescence, Ava found Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian Martial Art form. This dance-like martial art that encompasses music, circle songs, and West African Orixa dances deepened her connection to organic expression through rhythm, voice, and embodied movement.Ā
Drawn to the healing arts, Ava trained in Massage Therapy with a focus on Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, and neuromuscular unwinding. Her studies expanded to include breathwork, meditation, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Sound Healing. Over the past decade, she has served private clients, groups, and residential treatment settings with somatic bodywork, mindful breath and movement guidance, and intentional ceremony.
In 2008, Ava retreated regularly to the Tucson mountains to attune to the frequencies of nature. One day, inspired by the resonant hum of the rocks and the landscape, she vocalized Light Languageāintuitive vocal expressions attuned to the vibrational wisdom at the core of nature and creation. She has since deepened her connection to this sacred vocal expression to support both personal and planetary healing and helps others discover their unique vocal resonance as a pathway to transformation.
A certified Life and Spiritual Coach, Ava integrates her bodywork expertise, intuitive movement, and vocal sound practices with trauma-informed modalities like Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing. Through group and 1:1 sessions, she offers a compassionate space for clients to access their innate healing capacities, embody resilience, and reconnect with their intuitive wisdom. Her work serves as a bridge between body, sound, and somatic exploration, guiding individuals toward lives of authenticity and embodied transformation.
Ava lives in Tucson, AZ, with her partner, where they create improvisational music and care for their colony of community cats.
